About Macau

Macau, also known as Macao, is situated 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Hong Kong and 145 kilometres (90 mi) from Guangzhou of Mainland China. As a casino city, Macau°Øs per capita GDP ranked fourth in the world in 2013. This "Monte Carlo of the Orient°∞ has Wynn Macau, StarWorld, Las Vegas Sands, Venetian, Galaxy and other prestige Casinos (Wikipedia).

Macau has a humid subtropical climate, with average relative humidity between 75% and 90%. The temperature in June is around 30.3 °„C (86.5 °„F). The unit of currency is the?pataca (MOP), which is currently pegged to the Hong Kong dollar at a rate of HK$1 = MOP1.03 ( or 1 USD°÷ 8 MOP) (Wikipedia).

As a connection between East and West, Macau is full of historical sites and world heritages, such as Largo do Senado (public square with shopping and dining), Ruins of St. Paul's, Largo da Se, Monte Fort, Guia Lighthouse, etc. In addition, with convenient transportation in Macau, you may easily access to Disneyland, Chime-Long Ocean Kingdom or Sea World in Hong Kong, Zhuhai or Shanghai.

Half day UNESCO World Heritage tour will be scheduled.

While you are here, be sure to venture outdoors and explore Macao World Heritage. Hop on our Macao Cultural & Heritage Tour and we'll bring you to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites to explore the integration and co-existence of eastern and western cultures over a unique chapter in history.

You will discover magnificent Eastern heritages through visiting A Ma Temple (which existed before the city of Macau came into being) and Mandarin’s House (traditional Chinese residential built before 1869). After you strolled through the Mandarin’s House, we will walk to St. Lawrence’s Church, one of the three churches in Macau built by the Jesuits in the mid016 century, then will travel to the Dom Pedro V Theatre, built in 1860 as the first western-style theatre in China. Finally, we will walk down to unveil the wonderful stories of ‘Leal Senado’ Building, Macau’s first municipal chamber built in 1784
